We do our best to learn from one another, and we are confident that many people share our values and can meaningfully contribute to our mission and vision. If you are looking to share your skills and time with us, drop us an email and we will do our best to design an experience that will help you build your experience and leadership track.
Who are we looking for?
We are open-minded, flexible and constantly learning. Some of the people who can support us could be:
- Web and mobile app developers.
- Content writers and proofreaders.
- Fundraisers and proposal authors.
- Researchers.
What are the qualifications required?
Once more, we are open to a wide range of backgrounds and forms of support. However, just to give you an idea of what we might find the most compatible as of the present:
- English fluency in speaking and writing for the positions requiring to network, write content, and other written material.
- Programming skills for positions required to develop websites and apps.
- Research, fact-checking and briefing skills for research positions.
Got something else? Don’t worry, still get in touch and we will see what we can do!
As of present, we are unlikely to be able to contribute towards a salary, although that will highly depend on our funding. By the time you contact us, we might be able to make you a stronger offer with some financial reimbursement.
As an intern, we will make sure that you don’t incur any expenses on your own, and that we will work with you to:
- Provide flexible working hours, including remote work.
- Allow the time and space to learn the skills you’re most interested in.
- Give you opportunities for expanding your network and understanding sector stakeholders.
- Document your time with us with certificates.
- Share recommendation letters where applicable.
Some people find that they would like to contribute to Martha EDU with a specific skill or project. If it’s your case, drop us an email and we can have a discussion about our needs and priorities from one side, and your current schedule and areas of expertise from another.
Volunteers can support us with:
- Applying to a specific fund.
- Refining our pitch and presentations.
- Proofreading written material.
- Researching a given topic, for example, funding opportunities and potential partners.
- Build industry links in the region and the world.
Other project ideas may be present by the time you get in touch. Needless to say, we appreciate every idea and connection built with people who aspire to make a meaningful, lasting impact!
